What are the costs to sell on Amazon?
Basic Selling Plans.
Amazon offers two basic selling plans. The Professional selling plan
is available for a $39.99 monthly subscription fee plus per-item selling fees, which vary by category.
If you plan to sell fewer than 40 items a month,
the Individual plan
may be best for you. There is no monthly subscription fee. Instead, Individuals pay $0.99 per item sold plus other selling fees, which vary by category.
Fulfillment By Amazon
If you choose to take advantage of Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), the costs can change dramatically. FBA can save you money in shipping, storage, and customer service, but you are responsible for the Amazon Fulfillment Fees and Storage Fees, which vary based on the item size and weight.
